At the Airport

Here are friendly reminders to keep in mind as you prepare to travel:

  • Keep tickets and documents handy
  • Report at check-in counter on time
  • Proceed to the security checks
  • Proceed to waiting lounges

Also please note that passengers may only carry Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs) in their hand luggage in containers that have a maximum capacity of 100ml each. Passengers may carry several containers with liquid contents, but these containers must be packed in a re-sealable, transparent plastic bag, not exceeding a capacity of 1L. Each passenger may carry ONLY ONE of these bags.

Terminal 1

Due to infrastructure limitations, there is no online check-in facility.

Any single piece of baggage weighing over 32kgs cannot be accepted as check-in luggage and must be sent as cargo.

Economy Class passengers may carry 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7kgs.

Business Class passengers may carry 2 pieces of hand luggage, each weighing up to 7kgs.

Passenger must personally be present at the counters for checking in. Qatar Airways will not accept passports sent with drivers or messengers for security reasons.

Passport must be valid even if the passenger is traveling for good to their home country.

Premium Passengers

Passengers travelling First and Business Class on Qatar Airways will experience 5-Star hospitality at the Premium Terminal in Doha. This experience begins from the time you walk into the terminal until you depart.

Internet Booking

If you purchased your ticket on qatarairways.com, please make sure you bring the credit card used to make the booking. Failure to produce your credit card might lead to you being prevented from travelling on your flight.
