Transportation and parking
Transport from the centre of Algiers is easy, with plenty of buses and taxis available from all parts of the city. The N11 coastal road leads straight to the airport and offers a very scenic drive, while buses take approximately 30 minutes from the centre of the city to drop off points outside the main terminal buildings. Taxis can be booked ahead by your hotel concierge (and in fact this is advisable rather than hailing a cab at the roadside). The journey takes around 25 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Allow a little extra time if you are travelling to the airport during morning and evening rush hours.
