The south of the city is a little less congested and is known for its open spaces, including the park and boating lake of Rabindra Sarovar and the Royal Calcutta Golf Club, the second oldest golf club in the world. You’ll also find the wonderfully lively Big Bazaar, where you can buy just about anything you can imagine.
