• Members must enrol in the Qatar Airways Student Club (the “Student Club”) first, in order to avail the exclusive offers for students.
• Student is a person who is studying for a Degree (as defined hereafter) and has joined a recognised higher education provider (university or college) and is between the ages of 18 and 30 (the “Student”), with a valid and current student identification card issued by an official student union or an educational institute or a valid student visa or an official acceptance letter issued by an educational institute, in English.
• Degree is defined as an academic degree, any of several titles conferred by colleges and /or universities to indicate the completion of a course of study or the extent of academic achievement.
  
• Registration at the Student Club is mandatory to avail the offer.
  
• It is mandatory to provide the expected graduation date when enrolling in the Student Club and it is the Student’s responsibility to update such date in the event of any changes. It is mandatory to provide supporting documents such as passport, university or college letter, or student identification card, or student visa, or official acceptance letter from college or university upon enrolment.
  
• The maximum duration for membership in the Student Club is seven (7) years from the date of enrolment in the Student Club.
  
• Student Members in Burgundy Membership Tier can avail an extra baggage allowance of one (1) piece of baggage or ten (10) kgs (as applicable to the specific route) when travelling on Qatar Airways operated flights. Students Members who are holding Silver, Gold, or Platinum Membership Tiers will continue to avail their respective Tier benefits for baggage allowance as per the Privilege Club Terms and Conditions.
  
• To be entitled to the extra baggage allowance, the Student has to present the digital Student Club card at the time of check in.
  
• Tier upgrade: Students shall be able to avail the tier upgrade only upon proof of graduation.
  
• Students Members can avail a Tier+1 upgrade to the next tier in the Privilege Club upon graduation subject to the following:
  • (a) submission of supporting documents to Qatar Airways (to include but not limited to, proof of graduation) and the minimum flight criteria having been met. Students should provide the proof of graduation documents within a maximum of six (6) months after the graduation date; and
  • (b) Student has flown at least one (1) round-trip journey or two (2) one-way journeys per anniversary year from enrolment date to the Student Club. These journeys cannot be redemption tickets.
    
    
• Students must provide all the documents required by Qatar Airways to be eligible for an upgrade to the next tier.
• Upon graduation, the Student Club membership will end and the Student will automatically continue as a Main Member of the Privilege Club and benefit from Privilege Club membership.
• Student Club membership cards are produced only in digital format, no physical cards will be issued by Privilege Club.
• In order to join the Student Club and avail Student Club offers, it is necessary for Qatar Airways to process the Student’s  personal data for the performance of these Terms and Conditions, in accordance with clause 21 [Your Personal Data and security of your Account] of the Privilege Club Terms and Conditions and Qatar Airways’ Privacy Notice.
• Qatar Airways and its partners do not guarantee the availability, and / or continuity of any offer or other benefits. For avoidance of doubt, partners includes Qatar Airways codeshare partners, which may be amended from time to time. Subject to Clause 26 below, the fare discount under this promotion will apply if the fare is purchased as a “through fare” from partners but the actual discount is applicable on Qatar Airways operated flights only.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Qatar. Each Student shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Qatar to resolve disputes arising in connection with the Student Club. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, Qatar Airways shall have the right to initiate proceedings before any competent courts worldwide, as Qatar Airways deems it fit.
• The exclusions in sub-clause 8.4 (b) of the Privilege Club Terms and Conditions shall not apply to discounted tickets provided as part of Student Club to Students and Avios earned will be according to the values published through the My Calculator on the Privilege Club website. Any other Avios accrual shall be in accordance with the Privilege Club Terms and Conditions.
• Qatar Airways may in its sole and absolute discretion terminate or suspend membership to the Student Club, or end the Student Club for any reason whatsoever at any time, without incurring any cost or liability as a result of using this right.
• We reserve the right to audit a Member's account and records without notice to the Member to check for compliance and verify the documentation provided for eligibility to the Student Club; If for any reason member is unable to verify the status as a Student then the member will automatically be registered only as a Privilege Club Main Member.
• Qatar Airways will not be liable for any kind of loss or damage, including (without limitation) any loss or reduction in a Student Member’s advantages and any detriment or disadvantage, resulting from any alteration to, suspension or termination of the Student Club.
• The limitations and exclusions of liability referred to in the Conditions of Carriage will apply in relation to Students’ travel with Qatar Airways.
• Offer period: 1st November 2020 – 31st March 2025. 
• Travel period: starting from 1st November 2020.
• All fare discounts are only valid for bookings made with the unique promo code in the confirmation email sent to the Student Member’s registered email address.
• Discount applies to base fare only of the selected fare classes and does not apply to the taxes and all other surcharges, which are to be borne by the Student.
• If a Student makes a booking by purchasing a non-discounted published fare, (s)he will be eligible to the extra baggage allowance by presenting his / her digital Student Club membership card as well as student ID or a university acceptance letter or student visa at the time of check in.
• Two date changes are permitted free of charge, and the associated penalties and service fees will be waived for these two date change. However, in the event of any difference in fares between the original date booked and the new date chosen, the difference in amount will be  paid by the Student. For any additional date changes, the standard date change fees will apply.
• The fares’ discount is applicable to flights booked on qatarairways.com including on one-way journeys, to be flown by the Student and companions.
  • a) The fare discount for the first ticket(s) will be 10% (ten percent) off the published ticket(s) price;
  • b) The fare discount for the second ticket(s) will be 15% (fifteen percent) off the published ticket(s) price;
  • c) The fare discount for the third ticket(s) will be 20% (twenty percent) off the published ticket(s) price; and
  • d) The fare discount for the fourth ticket(s) will be 20% (twenty percent) off the published ticket(s) price.
    
    

• The Student will be able to benefit from the fare discount for the second ticket(s) only after the completion of the first sector of the first flight booking. After the first sector of the first flight has been flown, the Student will receive a confirmation email containing a unique promo code in order to access the fare discount for the second tickets.
• The Student will be able to benefit from the fare discount for the third ticket(s) after the completion of the first sector of the second flight booking. After the first sector of the second flight has been flown, the Student will receive a confirmation email containing a unique promo code in order to access the fare discount for the third ticket(s).
• The Student Member will only be able to benefit from the fare discount for the fourth ticket(s) after the completion of the first sector of the third flight booking. After the first sector of the third flight has been flown, the Student will receive a confirmation email containing a unique promo code in order to access the fare discount for the fourth ticket(s).
• Companion offer for the Student (the “Companion Pass”):
  • a)  The promo code is valid for a single booking for up to four (4) tickets which can comprise of the Student and up to three (3) accompanying passengers (the “Companion(s)”), who should be registered in the Student Club Member’s profile.
  • b) The Companions must be 18 years and above.
  • c)  Any nominated person who is not already a member of the Privilege Club must join the Privilege Club and verify their account in order to be invited by the Student to join the offer as a Companion.
  • d) Students can also nominate their existing Privilege Club family members as Companions. In this event, the nominated person will not need to re-register and can simply be added as a Companion without further process.
  • e) Nominated persons who are already Privilege Club members, but not a Privilege Club family member of the Student , will not need to re-register, but will receive an invitation containing an acceptance link for verification.
  • f) Companions must give consent via the link provided by the Student Club Member in order to be added in the Student’s profile as Companions.
  • g) To access the discounts, the Student and the Companions must travel together on the entire journey booked. The original booking cannot be split.
  • h) Once added to the Student’s profile, changes to any of the Companions’ nominations will be possible only after six (6) months from the first date of registration of the Companion Pass(es).
  • i) The fare displayed at the time of booking is inclusive of the discount and the total amount of taxes to be paid.
  • j) The extra baggage allowance is valid on Qatar Airways’ operated flights and applies to the Student only. The Companions are eligible for the fare discount and flexibility of two date changes free of charge only.
    
    
• Validity for the second and third promo codes are for one (1) year from the first date of travel from the first booking. Validity for the fourth promo code is six (6) months from the first date of travel from the previous booking. The fare discount, two free of charge date changes and onboard Wi-Fi vouchers, are valid only when using the fare discount promo code by booking online via qatarairways.com and only whilst travelling on Qatar Airways operated or marketed flights.
• Onboard Wi-Fi is available on selected flights only. The Student must book on qatarairways.com in order to be eligible to the onboard Wi-Fi vouchers. Click here for the full list.
• The onboard Wi-Fi voucher(s) will be delivered to the Student via email forty-eight (48) hours after a journey is booked using the fare discount promo code and if the journey operates a Wi-Fi enabled aircraft.
• Qatar Airways will request valid identification to confirm the eligibility of the passengers upon check-in.
• If passenger(s) are found to be ineligible, Qatar Airways reserves the right to charge the applicable fare as per qatarairways.com subject to availability or lowest available fare, and charge the additional baggage allowance as per standard fees.
• The discount and additional baggage allowance are not valid with codeshare and interline partnerships.
• This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
• The Student’s personal details entered on the registration form must be exactly as stated on the passport used for travel.
• Seats are limited and are subject to availability.
