2.1  The Promotion is open to Zain Cash Wallet users who are students, 18 years to 30 years old and who are legal residents Jordan.

2.2  Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways, its subsidiaries, and each of their immediate families (spouse, siblings and children) and their household members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

2.3  Employees, officers, directors and agents of Zain Telecom, its subsidiaries, and each of their immediate families (spouse, siblings and children) and their household members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

2.4  Each Participant confirms that it meets all eligibility requirements in this Clause 2.

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to these Official Rules and consent to the use, collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your information provided to Qatar Airways, including but not limited to the personal data, in the manner set out in Qatar Airways’ Privacy Notice. All interpretations of these Official Rules by Qatar Airways are final. Qatar Airways reserves the right to change or otherwise withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior written notice to you and you shall be bound to such change or withdrawal.

This Promotion commences on 28 August 2021 at 08:00 am (GMT+3). All entries must be received by 31 December 2021 at 23:30 (GMT +.3), or any extended date which the Sponsor may in its sole discretion decide (“Promotion Period”).

5.1   NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN.

5.2   You can participate in the Promotion via the following way:

6.1   After the promotion Period, one (1) winner will be selected via an online raffle draw and will not be viewable by the public

6.2   Each Winner will be sent a prize announcement (“Prize Announcement”) via email used at the time of enrollment

6.3   Winners must respond to the Prize Announcement within seventy-two (72) hours including providing a validly executed Release (as defined in Clause 7 below) including Student Club membership number to confirm receipt of the message to claim the Prize.

6.4   If a Winner does not meet the eligibility requirement, entry requirements or does not timely respond to the Prize Announcement, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the Winner.

6.5   The Participant will not make any claim against the Sponsor for including but not limited to, entries lost, damaged or delayed, or due to computer or information technology errors in transit.

6.6   The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7.1   Qatar Airways will provide 1 Economy Class ticket (“Prize”) to the winner subject to the prize conditions stated in sub-clause 7.2 below which entitles him/her them to:

           i.       One (1) free-of-charge (FOC) Economy Class ticket on Qatar Airways operated flights with a travel validity of 3 months as long as Winner is eligible to be a Student Club member in accordance with the Student Club Terms and Conditions.

          ii.       One (1) date change is permitted free of cost. 

7.2         Restrictions

                    i.          All travel arrangements must be booked through Qatar Airways in compliance with instructions given to the Winners. Winners are responsible for the taxes, cost of visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the point of origin, and/or lodging expenses, meals, and other travel expenses unless stated otherwise.

                   ii.          Travel is on Qatar Airways operated flights only. For avoidance of doubt, travel on any code share partners/flights, oneworld alliance, and interline partnership are excluded.

                  iii.          There will be a one- time waiver in respect of penalty and service fees normally incurred for a change of date. However, in the event of any difference in fare between the original date booked and the new date chosen, the difference in amount will be payable by the Student Member. For any additional date changes, the standard date change fees will apply.

                  iv.          No-Show and Cancellation penalties shall be applicable as per Standard Rules of deal code.

                   v.          Cancellation penalties shall not apply for the free ticket.

                  vi.          Seats are limited and are subject to availability.

                 vii.          Student Club Terms and Conditions, Qatar Airways Privilege Club Terms and Conditions apply as relevant.

                viii.          Qatar Airways Conditions of Carriage, fare rules apply to all bookings..

7.3       The validity period for the FOC tickets may be extended and prize tickets may be rebooked after 3 months at the sole discretion of Qatar Airways. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice.

7.4        Release

7.4.1     Winners will be required to sign and return via email, the affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, the “Release”) forms provided by Sponsor, within five (5) days of receipt in order to receive a prize. If the Winner fails to return the Release within five (5) days or if the Winner is disqualified, prize will be forfeited. If a Winner is not reachable at the e-mail address provided to Sponsor, then the Prize will be forfeited.

7.4.2     Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No cash redemption or prize substitutions are allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in Sponsor’s discretion. A Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason will not make any claim against the Sponsor. The Winner is responsible for any and all, fees, security and passenger facility charges applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes and fees (except as specified otherwise in the voucher).

7.4.3     All travel arrangements must be booked through Qatar Airways in compliance with instructions given to the Winners. Winners are responsible for the Taxes, cost of visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the point of origin, and/or lodging expenses, meals, and other travel expenses unless stated otherwise. Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable.   

7.4.5     Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant or Winner who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7.4.6     The Participant will not make any claim against the Sponsor and its agencies for including but not limited to technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Promotion.  Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Promotion if it becomes technically corrupted. In such event, Sponsor will award prize via random drawing from eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

Subject to applicable laws of the eligible countries, each Winner by participating in the Promotion grants consent to Sponsor to collect, use the Winner’s name, photograph for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes worldwide in perpetuity addressed to the general public in all forms of media, including on social media on Sponsor’s social media official accounts during the Promotion Period, in connection with the Promotion  in perpetuity, without any obligation or consideration or counter-part whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the prize to the Winner. In case that the Winner intends make a publicity regarding his/her win on the Promotion and/or Prizes, such publicity must not contain anything that would harm and/or be detrimental to the Sponsor’s reputation.

To claim your Prize, you will be required to provide yourstudent club membership number, first name, middle name and last name, your official email address registered in your student club profile. We will use this personal data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, awarding the Prizes and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules. We will retain any personal data provided for a maximum of duration of the Prize from the date of selection of each batch of Winners or for such longer period in order to administer these Official Rules. To the extent applicable, personal data will be processed in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy-policy.html.

BY PARTICIPATING, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD SPONSOR AND SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS,  AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS, AS WELL AS FACEBOOK, TWITTER, , INSTAGRAM, AND TIKTOK, HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ANY DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHICH PARTICIPANT OR ANYONE ELSE MAY INCUR AS A RESULT OF THIS PROMOTION OR THE USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LATE BOOKINGS, TECHNICAL ERRORS (SUCH AS LOSS OF INTERNET SERVICES, COMMUNICATION SERVICES, ETC.) AND ANY OTHER CONDITIONS THAT ARE SET OUT IN FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE..

BY PARTICIPATING, EACH PATICIPANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES AGAINST SPONSORS OR THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, AGENCIES, AND EMPLOYEES. QATAR AIRWAYS TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF THE PRIZES WON BY A PARTICIPANT.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE PROMOTION TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR OTHER ACTS OF GOD OR THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

If this Promotion cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion, winner selection, or prizes without prior notice. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, or any other social media platform. Sponsor will not be responsible for any technical fault or failure which prevents a person from from becoming a participant.  Sponsor will not be liable for any entry which is not received or which is incomplete or damaged or which is invalid for any other reason.

Unless stated otherwise, Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes in connection with their Prize, including all federal, state and local taxes and the reporting consequences thereof.  Sponsor will comply with all Internal Revenue Service and other government reporting obligations.

This Promotion including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Promotion will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts. THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. 

Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

           i.              The Laws shall apply to these Official Rules without giving effect to its conflicts of law principles; and

          ii.               You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence (“Country”), then the Promotion and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in your Country.
