Perhaps you’re visiting another city or want your holiday to last a bit longer. For greater flexibility when planning your journey, simply change an award flight or upgrade, or cancel it.
Applicable fees
Award flights and upgrades can be changed or cancelled up to three hours before departure. A fee per passenger may apply depending on the time of the change or cancellation, and your tier.

Don’t worry if you change or cancel – eligible government and airport taxes will be refunded, and Avios spent will be credited back to your Privilege Club account.
If you decide not to take your award flight, and there are less than three hours to go before departure, eligible government and airport taxes will be refunded. However, Avios spent will not be credited back to your Privilege Club account.
