M-PESA
In addition to the range of flexible and convenient payment options available, customers in Kenya and Tanzania can use M-PESA to pay for their tickets with these easy steps:
1. Book your ticket at qatarairways.com or at any Qatar Airways sales office.
2. When you book your ticket online, select 'Pay Later' option. Your booking will be kept on-hold for 48 hours to allow for payment.
3. Select the ‘Pay Bill’ option from the M-PESA menu on your phone and enter business number 816850.
4. Enter your Qatar Airways booking reference as the account number and insert the amount you are paying in KES.
5. Enter your M-PESA PIN, reconfirm the business number and amount in KES and press OK to complete the transaction.
6. You will receive an SMS from M-PESA with a confirmation code.
An e-ticket will be sent within 48 hours to the e-mail address provided at time of booking. If you do not receive your e-ticket within 48 hours, please contact the customer service team on 020 2800000.
You can also use M-PESA when changing your reservation at the sales office, if a change of reservation fee applies. Changes in reservations made online can only be paid with credit cards.

To apply for a refund please click here. The refund process takes 5-7 working days from the day the refund request is placed.

- There are no additional transaction fees for this service regardless of the transaction value.

- Tickets will be issued on valid bookings and within Qatar Airways operational hours.
- M-PESA transaction limits are KES 70,000 per transaction and KES 140,000 per day. For payments over KES 70,000 and up to KES 140,000 two transactions should be made. If the value of your ticket is more than KES 140,000, you can use an alternative form of payment such as pay at bank or pay at the sales office.
- The fare on the website is quoted in USD. However, you can only transact in KES currency on M-PESA. For the applicable exchange rate and value, contact the customer service team on 020 2800000 or email reservationnairobi@ke.qatarairways.com. Tickets will not be issued if the amount is incorrect.
