On your trip to Qassim, you must visit the Qassim Dates Market in Buraydah, especially if you're in the region between August and September, the harvest season. Here you can sample some sweet fresh dates and buy a range of date confectionery.

It's also worth travelling to the outskirts of Buraydah, where the world's largest camel market is located. As well as camels, you'll find an assortment of leather goods for sale, such as saddles, bridles, and woolen blankets. Just make sure you get there early as the market opens at 6am every day, but usually closes by 10am.
