Transportation and parking
Buses and taxis run from the centre of Lahore into the airport, although if you are travelling with luggage it is advisable to ask your hotel concierge to arrange a taxi service for you. Traffic can be incredibly busy, so although the airport is relatively close to the city, allow extra time for your journey. Both short and long-term parking is available close to the terminal.
Arriving in Lahore
Passengers flying from Lahore with Qatar Airways depart from the main passenger terminal Departures area. There are 32 check-in desks and a recent upgrade has made the check-in process much smoother. However, because of the very tight security at the airport you should allow at least two hours before your flight is scheduled to depart to clear check in and security checks. There are a number of lounges available while you wait, including a VIP lounge for first class and business class passengers. The international Departures lounge has a capacity of up to 1,200 people so there is plenty of room to relax before your flight.

There are additional lounge areas for passengers, as well as men’s and women’s prayer rooms for devotions.
