Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is the main international airport serving the German capital, welcoming more than 1.5 million passengers each year. The airport is a major transport hub in Europe and regarded as one of the most passenger-friendly airports in the continent.
Situated on its own island close to the Malay Peninsula, the city state of Singapore is often considered one of the region’s most accessible destinations. It’s a densely packed nation of more than five million people, made up of Chinese, Malay, Eurasian, and Indian residents. Singapore also has a healthy dose of expatriates from around the world.
Although it is distinctly Asian, Singapore’s origins as a British colony are still plain to see. English is an official language alongside Malay, Chinese and Tamil, but this extraordinary locale is much more than a colonial outpost.
