Qatar Airways is committed to working with industry stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of cleaner aviation fuels at the commercial scale, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Low Carbon Aviation Fuels (LCAF), which are certified under a robust sustainability criteria recognised by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and its Member States.

Qatar Executive takes the lead with the world's first Gulfstream G700 capable of using 100% SAF. Qatar Airways Cargo was the first air cargo to join the IATA CO2NNECT platform and make a carbon transaction on the IATA ACE.

Hamad International Airport is accredited with environmental accreditation (ACI Level 3 - optimisation), while Qatar Aviation Services becomes the world's first ground handler to achieve the new IEnvA certification.
