Kuala Lumpur International Airport has an extensive network of ground transport options, including various bus routes to and from the capital, around the airport itself.

Note that tickets are not interchangeable between the two services. There are two main car parks offering 11,442 spaces, with a long-term parking lot located at Block A.

There is a variety of check-in methods available for passengers, including an online service and an advance baggage check-in, where you can check your bags up to eight hours in advance of your flight. The Jet d'Eau is a remarkable landmark, where a column of water is pumped an incredible 140m into the air. It’s beautifully lit up at night but don’t get too close – the area for half a kilometre around the feature is permanently wet!
The Old Town is worth exploring for an afternoon (be advised that it is on quite a steep incline so people with reduced mobility may find it difficult).
