Transportation and parking

The airport is well served by rail, bus and taxi options, and getting from the city centre to the airport is quick and easy. Trains run every 15 minutes from 7am to 9pm. 

The station is situated next to the airport and is connected to the terminal by a bridge. Airport bus 1 connects the airport with Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, while other routes run every few minutes to various locations in Shanghai including the Galaxy Hotel and Shanghai South railway station. 

Taxis are plentiful but as many drivers only speak Chinese it is best to ask your hotel concierge to book a taxi on your behalf. 

Parking consists of a three-floor multi-storey car park with space for over 3,000 vehicles, and a surface car park for short and long-term parking in front of the terminal buildings.

Arriving in Shanghai
