Book flights from Nice to Doha with Qatar Airways

Flights from Nice to Doha with Qatar Airways offer an exceptional range of world-class quality services, designed to help you reach the Qatari capital feeling thoroughly refreshed. Enjoy the spacious seating with plenty of room to stretch your legs, and the services of an attentive and welcoming cabin crew, with its dedicated attention to you from the moment you step on board. Dine on gourmet cuisine, and let time pass smoothly by with a range of quality entertainment options.

The best way to appreciate the carefully planned layout of Doha’s attractive cityscape is to take a stroll along the Corniche promenade which skirts Doha Bay. On the one side, you have a view across public parks and gardens towards the business district, and on the other you see the magnificent Museum of Islamic Art on its own island in the bay. This is the cultural highlight of any visit to Doha, but there are also various other landmarks to visit, including Katara Cultural Village, the atmospheric Souq Waqif and the Pearl.

Flying from Nice

Just under four miles southwest of the French city of Nice is the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, the third busiest airport in France and the gateway to and from the French Riviera.

Its location makes it a hugely popular journey point with tourists visiting the glamorous south of France, while business travellers can link on to the Principality of Monaco by helicopter, making it a key business transport hub.

Passengers flying from Nice with Qatar Airways will be delighted by the efficiency and flawless operation of the airport, staffed by attentive and welcoming personnel who go out of their way to make the start of your journey pleasant and stress-free. The airport covers 1.43 sq miles, with the two terminals linked by courtesy shuttle buses.

Transportation and parking

The fastest way to get from the centre of Nice to the airport is by SNCF rail, which runs trains directly to Terminal 1. An airport bus connects from the station to Terminal 2. Bus routes 99 and 98 run regularly between the city centre and the airport, and take around 25 minutes.

Taxis are plentiful, while travellers connecting from Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez can use one of several helicopter operators to fly direct to the airport.

Car parking is good, with several indoor and outdoor parking areas providing short, long and intermediate parking options, including pre-paid package deals for regular users.

Arriving in Nice

Passengers flying from Nice with Qatar Airways depart from Terminal 1, which is for international flights to both Schengen and non-Schengen destinations.

There are 25 gates and numerous check-in booths and desks. Be aware that security in all French airports is exceptionally tight, with very thorough document checks and baggage searches.

French security has been stepped up, so it is strongly advised to ensure that all your documents are in order before you begin your journey.

Facilities and amenities

Terminal 1 has a large business centre with eight rooms and a conference hall with a capacity of 250 people. Banking and currency exchange services are located in both terminals, as are plenty of ATMs.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport, and there are also several fixed internet stations.

A good selection of restaurants, cafés and fast food outlets provide beverages and meals, while a retail mall with gift shops, Duty Free and regional speciality sellers is located in the main hall.

A number of hotels are also located on-site, particularly useful for passengers who have early morning flights booked.

Arriving in Doha

Book a flight to Doha with Qatar Airways and you’ll be flying into the home of our airline, and the home of international travel.

This remarkable city is also developing at an incredible pace, becoming one of the fastest-growing cities in the Gulf region.

Home to the Educational City, museums, cultural attractions and much more, Doha is a surprising destination that is full of interesting sights and activities.

Dominated by its crescent-shaped bay, Doha was originally a collection of fishing and pearl-diving villages. Today, its skyline rivals that of any international destination worldwide. A flight to Doha with Qatar Airways gives you a chance to discover this fascinating city for yourself.

Tourist attractions

Doha has a wonderful selection of museums, including the Msheireb Enrichment Centre. This is a barge docked at the Doha Corniche, close to one of the city's oldest landmarks, the Sheraton Hotel. It holds exhibits that chart the country’s historic background as well as its continuing plans for the future.

The Mathaf Arab Museum of Modern Art has recently opened and is home to a collection of modern art from across the Arab world.

The Al Koot Fort was built in 1880, and is a popular photographic stop for tourists visiting Souq Waqif – a charming traditional market and the social heart of the city.  The Clock Tower is next to the Grand Mosque, and because of its hilltop position it offers panoramic views of Doha and the Corniche.

Doha Heritage Village is located along the Corniche in Al Rumeilia Park, and is based on a traditional Qatari village.
