Transportation and parking
There are plenty of ways to get to the airport, including by water taxi. The Venice-Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by the ATVO Fly Bus and the ACTV bus 15, and Bus 5 runs to and from Piazzale Roma Square in the city, taking around 20 minutes to reach the airport. Taxis are plentiful – book with the city’s Radiotaxi to ensure you are paying the correct fare.
Water taxis operate between the airport docks and Venice, taking around 75 minutes, and a 24-hour motorboat service is also available. There are open-air and long-term parking areas next to the old terminal, and short-stay parking directly opposite the terminal building. Further parking is available a short distance from the airport main complex.
Arriving in Venice
Passengers flying from Venice with Qatar Airways depart from the main airport terminal 2nd floor Departures area. There are a total of 70 check-in desks and two lounges, the main Marco Polo lounge is available to all passengers, while the "Tintoretto Lounge" is for SkyTeam passengers. Allow between one and a half and two hours prior to your flight departure time to clear check in and security checks.
Facilities and amenities
Wi-Fi access is available throughout most of the airport, and internet kiosks are also positioned around the terminal for passengers to use.
There are banking and ATM facilities, mother and baby rooms and a nursery, and a first aid service for emergencies. A selection of retail outlets sell souvenirs, including the glassware that Venice is famous for, leather goods, luxury accessories and Duty Free shopping.
