Book flights from Copenhagen to Goa with Qatar Airways

Flying from Copenhagen

Formerly known as Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen Airport is the largest in Scandinavia and is close to Copenhagen city centre.

Because of its importance as the main air hub in Scandinavia, facilities and amenities at the airport are excellent, and passengers flying from Copenhagen with Qatar Airways will discover an efficient, friendly and premium quality service that is focused primarily on the passenger experience.

Transportation and parking

There are several bus services to and from the centre of the city to the airport. There are also free terminal shuttles, which run frequently between the terminals. The Metro station is located at the end of Terminal 3 and runs 4-6 minute intervals during the day and evening hours and every 15-20 minutes during the night. The travel time from Nørreport Station in central Copenhagen to the airport is 15 minutes.

Taxis in Copenhagen are plentiful and relatively cheap – you can ask your hotel concierge to arrange either taxis or a limousine service to the airport, which is a better option if you have a lot of luggage. There are more than 10,000 car parking spaces for short, medium and long-term stays.

Arriving in Copenhagen

Passengers flying from Copenhagen with Qatar Airways depart from Terminal 2. The CPH lounge is open to all passengers, while the Aspire and the Aviator lounges also offer a selection of facilities including Wi-Fi.

Facilities and amenities

An extensive business centre with 29 meeting rooms is available in Terminal 3, while Terminal 2 (International flights) offers a good selection of facilities too. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and there are Internet kiosks throughout Terminal 2. Banks, ATMs and a Bureau de Change are located in T2, and there is also a good selection of retail outlets offering passengers an excellent choice of goods and accessories.

Food and drinks vendors are plentiful, serving everything from some Danish and Scandinavian specialities through to international cuisine. There’s a play area for children and, unusually, a special lounge area for teenagers too.

Enjoy award-winning services on flights from Copenhagen to Goa with Qatar Airways. In-flight cuisine never tasted so good, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the extra leg space available on our flights to India’s iconic island paradise. Goa has a mixed culture that is a product of its history as a Portuguese colony, with indigenous Indian influences added in. Visitors have been attracted to Goa since the 1960s, for its serene and relaxed atmosphere, great natural beauties and more recently by attractions such as the Houses of Goa museum in Benaulim. Goa’s beaches are of course its main glory, but there are also plenty of good shops and restaurants in the towns.

Arriving in Goa

Beloved destination of travellers from the west since the 1960s, Goa is one of the most relaxing and laid-back locations in the world. Famous for its beaches and a tropical lifestyle, it’s a warm, welcoming place that is continuing to grow into an internationally important tourist spot.

A unique blend of Indian and Portuguese culture gives it an eclectic feel unlike any other part of India. The best time to book a flight to Goa with Qatar Airways is between November and February, when the climate is mild. For a truly relaxing holiday that allows you to unwind and leave the pressures of modern life behind you, Goa is the perfect destination.

Tourist attractions

Without doubt the main attraction in Goa are its beaches. Soft sand, warm water that’s perfect for snorkelling and diving and a beach culture that encourages a more laid-back lifestyle attract visitors from all over the world. But Goa has plenty of other attractions, including a plethora of art galleries and museums charting the colonial history of the region, its culture and both traditional and modern art.

Across Goa there are several Butterfly Conservatories (at Rajnagar, Pisgal, Priol and Ponda), which are an enchanting way to spend a day. If you time your visit for the end of January, head to the international music festival at Elliot Grounds, Baga Bridge for two days of top quality acts.

Originally, Goa was known for its spice plantations, and a great way of discovering more about this fascinating trade is to take a spice tour at the Dudhsagar Plantation in Karmane.

Travel Considerations
