Transportation and parking

The easiest way to get to the airport from the main city of Kigali is by taxi. Official metered taxis can be booked through your hotel reception or concierge service. It is advisable pre-book in advance and agree the fare before you start your journey.
Parking at the airport is very limited, so it is best to make alternative parking arrangements away from the airport, and then reach the airport via taxi.
At the airport

There are eight check-in desks and three gates, so although numbers are low at the airport it can get a little congested during peak travel times. Security is also very tight, so allow around an hour and a half to two hours to check-in and clear security checks.
