Croatia is full of beautiful architecture, much of which was created by one man. The sculptor Ivan Mestrovic designed most of the country’s town squares as well as many of its national monuments. A former student of French sculptor Rodin, he was responsible for Zagreb’s Croatian History Museum, a must-see on any itinerary.

Getting around Croatia is a pretty unique experience, as much of it is done by boat between the islands. Regular car ferries operate all along the main coastal route from Bari to Dubrovnik, and there are small boats available at numerous locations. The bus service is good too, so you should have no problems seeing most of the sights when you fly to Croatia with Qatar Airways.
