Tourist attractions
It is easy to see as much as possible even on a short city break as most of Ankara’s attractions are centred on Ulus. Within a few minutes’ walking distance of Ulus you’ll find Ankara Castle, Cengelhan - Rahmi Koc Museum and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
A slightly longer stroll will bring you to the Ethnographic Museum, the State Art and Sculpture Museum, Haci Bayram Mosque, Salt Ulus, Augustus Temple and the beautifully preserved Roman Baths.
Visit the Atakule Tower in Çankaya. However, the big landmark in the city is the relatively modern Anıtkabir, in the Anittepe quarter of the city. This is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
Immerse yourself in one of the most interesting parts of the city - Hamamönü, which is filled with beautifully restored Ottoman buildings, narrow streets, old houses and attractions, as well as four of the city’s historic mosques; Haci Mussa, Tacettin Sultan, Karacabey, and Sarikadi.

Chauffeur- driven limousines are available on request, and car rental facilities are also on offer.
Arriving at Hamad International Airport
If you are flying from Doha in First or Business Class with Qatar Airways, the most convenient access to the airport is through Entry Gate 1. Economy class passengers will find it easiest to enter the departure hall through Entry Gates 2 and 3.
