Tourist attractions
Doha has a wonderful selection of museums, including the Msheireb Enrichment Centre. This is a barge docked at the Doha Corniche, close to one of the city's oldest landmarks, the Sheraton Hotel. It holds exhibits that chart the country’s historic background as well as its continuing plans for the future.
The Mathaf Arab Museum of Modern Art has recently opened and is home to a collection of modern art from across the Arab world.
The Al Koot Fort was built in 1880, and is a popular photographic stop for tourists visiting Souq Waqif – a charming traditional market and the social heart of the city. The Clock Tower is next to the Grand Mosque, and because of its hilltop position it offers panoramic views of Doha and the Corniche.
Doha Heritage Village is located along the Corniche in Al Rumeilia Park, and is based on a traditional Qatari village.

Transportation and parking
Transport from Vienna to the airport is quick and efficient, with rail, bus and taxi links. The City Airport Train runs to and from the City Air Terminal at Wien Mitte station in central Vienna and takes just 16 minutes.
Vienna Airport Lines' bus 1185 runs between the airport and city centre and takes 22 minutes, while other services run to and from the airport from various locations around the city.
Taxis are plentiful, and travellers can choose from a number of specialised services including Vienna Airport Cabs and Airport Driver. Journey time is around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
There are five car parks providing more than 20,000 spaces, with the long-term multi-storey car parks conveniently close to the terminals.
Arriving in Vienna
Passengers flying from Vienna with Qatar Airways depart from Terminal 3 concourse D. This is the newest of Vienna’s four terminals and is incredibly well laid out and spacious.
Check in and customs are quick and efficient, but as with all European airports security is tight. So allow a little extra time before your flight is due to depart.
Facilities and Amenities
VIP lounges throughout the airport offer excellent facilities for first and business class travellers, including showers, work areas and private cafeterias. Conference facilities are also available.
Wi-Fi is accessible in public areas. The terminal has a large retail area with over 70 shops selling everything from luxury goods and accessories to Duty Free, watches, perfume and fashion, while the food court provides plenty of choice from light snacks and coffee through to more substantial international cuisine and fast food.
