Book flights from Sialkot to Kuwait with Qatar Airways

Flights from Sialkot to Kuwait with Qatar Airways offer passengers a memorable and comfortable in-flight experience. You’ll be offered a menu of award-winning cuisine, and the space to properly relax and stretch out your legs. With refined surroundings and an attentive cabin crew tending all your needs, you’ll arrive refreshed and rejuvenated in Kuwait City.

Kuwait is an architecturally bold and confident metropolis, its bristling skyline dominated by the sequined Kuwait Towers and renowned for its boutique and designer shopping malls. It does however have another, older and more traditional side, which is best seen in the collections of the excellent Kuwait National Museum and down at the waterfront, with its 19th century Seif Palace and old watchtower. One of the most popular venues is the ancient food and handicraft market of Souk Al-Mubarakiya, while the Grand Mosque at the centre of the city is the biggest in the country.

Flying from Sialkot, Pakistan

Sialkot International Airport is a busy air transport hub that welcomes over one million passengers every year. It is continually expanding to match the growing demands of greater numbers of business and leisure travellers. Passengers flying from Sialkot with Qatar Airways will be impressed by the positive, proactive atmosphere of the airport, and the warm welcome and professionalism of the staff.

Transportation and parking

It is easy to drive to the airport, as the Sialkot-Wazirabad highway has a slip road that leads straight to the airport. However, parking is limited and in very high demand so it may be best to make alternative parking arrangements away from the airport and travel to it by taxi. Buses and trains run from Sialkot to Sambrial, but at that point you will need to disembark and take a taxi to the airport itself.

At the airport

Passengers flying from Sialkot with Qatar Airways leave from the main terminal’s Departures hall. A business lounge is available for First and Business class passengers, while a large and comfortable general lounge is also available. Check-in can take some time, due to the very tight security checks, so allow at least two hours before your flight is due to board to check-in and go through security.

Facilities and amenities

The airport is well-designed, bright and airy, with cool waiting areas that provide welcome relief from the usual summer heat. Restaurants in the main terminal serve a variety of food, including local dishes and specialities, as well as other international cuisine.

Coffee stands and cafeterias provide lighter snacks and beverages, while a number of shops sell travel essentials and souvenirs.

Duty Free shops sell luxury goods including perfume, and there are plenty of banking facilities on-site, including ATMs and currency exchange desks. Prayer rooms offer a quiet area for devotions, and there is special assistance for disabled passengers available upon request.

Arriving in Kuwait

A major trading point since the 1600s, Kuwait is a small but powerful country that plays a key role in the political and commercial success of the region. It is now turning into a popular tourist destination, and welcomes visitors from all over the world. Kuwait is a fascinating country with plenty to see and do.

Book a flight to Kuwait with Qatar Airways and you’ll discover a city and country that has traditional values but a very modern outlook. Its petroleum and oil wealth has led to the development of resorts and luxury hotels, but there are also plenty of older attractions to fascinate and entertain visitors.

Tourist attractions

Failaka Island is just a short boat ride away from Kuwait City, and has a selection of Bronze Age and Greek archaeological sites worth visiting that demonstrate just how important on the Mediterranean trading routes Kuwait was through the ages.

The islands harbour is bustling with dhows, giving you a glimpse of Kuwaiti life outside the modern city.

Back in Kuwait City itself a good place to find traditional crafts and goods is the Al-Mubarakiya shopping district, where you’ll find plenty of souvenirs to remind you of your trip.

Much of Kuwait is flat desert, but just outside the city you’ll find the Kazmah desert cliffs. This is a great location to do a bit of off-road jeep driving, and on a clear day the view from the top of the cliffs stretches out across the bay.

Travel Considerations
