Lagos has over a dozen beaches. Close to the city is Lagos Bar Beach, which is a broad, sandy expanse but does tend to get crowded. If you’re looking for a quieter beach then head a little further out of town to Lekki Beach, Alpha Beach, Eleko Beach and Akodo Beach Ogogoro Island, or Atlas Cove.
