Book flights from Hanoi to Paris with Qatar Airways

Reach the French capital relaxed and positively rejuvenated with flights from Hanoi to Paris with Qatar Airways. Enjoy the comfort of roomy, ergonomically designed seating which provides you with plenty of leg space, and dine on award-winning cuisine along the way, served by an attentive cabin crew.

Paris is one of the very greatest of all European capitals, with a history that goes back over two millennia and more cultural and historic treasures than you can see on even the longest visit. Attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral are within everyone’s easy reach, and like most medieval cities all the main sites are fairly close together. Enjoy upmarket shopping in the Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honore, and soak up the bohemian atmosphere of Montmartre.

Arriving in Paris

Auckland International airport is the largest and busiest commercial and passenger hub in New Zealand, serving over nine million international and seven and a half million domestic passengers every year.

Modern and recently updated, the airport welcomes passengers from all over the world, and because of New Zealand’s location, sees a very high volume of long-haul passengers.

Auckland is a key transport hub in the Pacific region, and passengers flying from Auckland with Qatar Airways will find it to be a friendly, welcoming and very well-organised airport.

Transportation and parking

Auckland International airport is well served by public transport, with regular buses running every 20-30 minutes from the centre of Auckland. Look for Airbus and Maxx services, which also interconnect with other locations including Albany, Botany and Pakuranga. Shuttle buses run between most large hotels and the airport, and your hotel concierge will be able to provide you with timetables.

Taxi ranks are also located to the west of the International terminal building and a taxi journey from the centre of Auckland should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

Limousines are also available for hire. Parking at the airport is plentiful with both short- and long-term options, undercover parking with high security, and a valet parking service.

Arriving at the airport

Passengers flying from Auckland with Qatar Airways depart from the International Terminal departure area. The international departure area is located on the upper level of the Terminal, and is connected via escalators and elevators. It is a very large building, so it is important to ensure you are in the correct part of the terminal and to leave yourself plenty of time to get to your check-in desk.

Security can be very tight, so allow approximately two hours before your flight is due to board to clear check-in and security checks.

Facilities and amenities

Auckland International airport has excellent facilities, with over 100 shops on-site and plenty of food and drink outlets too. One unique feature of the airport is a shopping collection point, where goods bought elsewhere in New Zealand from participating shops can be sent straight to the airport, to be collected before you fly out.

Food options include premium-quality sushi and Asian cuisine, through to on-the-go snacks and coffee outlets. For business travellers there are two large conference rooms in the international terminal building, and additional meeting rooms throughout the airport. Spacious VIP lounges are available for First and Business Class passengers.

Flying from Hanoi

The rapidly expanding Noi Bai International Airport serves Hanoi and the north of Vietnam.

The opening of the new international Terminal 2 in 2014 has boosted the capacity of this modern airport, and passengers flying from Hanoi with Qatar Airways will find it to be an efficient and well run airport with the emphasis firmly on passenger care.

The staff are incredibly friendly and eager to make sure your passenger experience is one to remember for all the right reasons, and the expanding facilities in the new terminal give passengers everything they need for a good start to their journey.

Transportation and parking

Buses are one of the best ways to get to the airport, with the number 7 running from Kim Ma bus station and the number 17 from Long Bien bus station. They run every 15 minutes or so, but journey times will depend on the time of day as Hanoi’s traffic is notoriously congested, especially at peak times.

A dedicated airport minibus leaves from opposite the Vietnam Airlines Office on Quang Trung in Hanoi city centre, while taxis are plentiful, very cheap and take approximately 30 minutes to get from the city centre to the airport.

There are plenty of parking areas for both short and long-term stays, and a VIP valet service is also available.

Arriving in Hanoi

Passengers flying from Hanoi with Qatar Airways will depart from the new Terminal 2 building. A business lounge is available for First Class and Business Class travellers once you have cleared the security checks, and a public lounge area is also open to all passengers.

Allow at least two hours before your flight is due to depart to check in and clear customs checks.

Facilities and amenities

The new terminal has improved facilities and amenities at the airport considerably, and it now boasts a good selection of retail outlets selling both high-quality accessories and interesting locally made goods.

Food and drink vendors supply everything from light snacks and drinks through to more substantial meals.

ATMs are available in the main forecourt, and a Duty Free shop is also open for passengers who have cleared security.
