Bassinet:
Qatar Airways provides its passengers with the facility to use a bassinet, carrycot or baby basket located at the bulkhead for use during flight. Because of the location where this can be accommodated in the aircraft, total number of bassinets, carrycot or baby basket that can be provided on a given flight are limited.
To request the use of a bassinet during a journey please contact your nearest Qatar Airways office/Contact Center or enter the request in the PNR and queue it to your local QR station. Only PNR’s having an infant passenger can be assigned the appropriate seat for the parent. A bassinet seat may be requested in advance provided that your passenger is traveling with an infant.
For tickets issued effective 15th June 2013, revalidations are no longer permitted.
Even tickets eligible for free-of-charge (FOC) changes need to be exchanged/reissued by the respective travel agencies.
There is no need to reconfirm any QR bookings as long as they are booked and associated correctly.
Under the general rule, QR does not require an “Ok to Board” VISA message each time a customer departs on his/her journey. It is the responsibility of the passenger or his/her agent to ensure that their travel documents (including passport and VISA) are in order for the destination and transfer points of the journey.
