Official Rules

1.      SUMMARY

The “Win RCB official team merchandise and match tickets” raffle (the “Raffle”) is sponsored by Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. with its registered office at P.O. Box 25550, Doha, State of Qatar (the “Sponsor” or “Qatar Airways”). The Raffle and Prizes are subject to these Official Rules which form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Raffle between the Sponsor and the Participant (as defined in sub-clause 2.1 below).  Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Official Rules, you are not eligible to participate in the Raffle or to win any of the Prizes. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all aspects of this Raffle as permitted by law. The Raffle is run and sponsored by Qatar Airways in complete independence from any local government offices or tenders.

2.      ELIGIBILITY 

2.1   The Raffle is open to front line travel agents (or their employees as appropriate) holding a valid login account of Qatar Airways India Trade Portal (“Trade Portal”), who are legal residents of India and are 18 years of age or older at the date of entering the Raffle (each a “Participant”).

2.2   Participants issuing the highest number of Qatar Airways’ tickets (including OW & RT) for the campaign during the period till 08 May 2025 will get qualified for the Campaign Winner Raffle.

2.3   Account to the Trade Portal, can be created on https://www.qatarairways.com/tradeportal/en-in/homepage.html.

2.4   Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways, its subsidiaries, and each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and their household members are not eligible to participate in the Raffle.

2.5   Each Participant confirms that they meet all eligibility requirements set out under sub-clause 2.1 above (the "Eligibility Requirements").

3.      AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICAL RULES

All Participants must comply with these Official Rules. All interpretations of these Official Rules by Qatar Airways are final. You agree that participation in this Raffle constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. By participating in the Raffle, you confirm that, where you are an employee, you have obtained the permission of your employer to participate in the Raffle, you agree to these Official Rules and that all interpretations of these Official Rules by Qatar Airways are final as permitted by law and you agree (where you are an employee) to notify the Sponsor of any procedures required by your employer to be observed regarding your participation in the Raffle.

4.    RAFFLE PERIOD

4.1   This Raffle commences on 17th April, 2025 at 09:00 AM (IST) and will end on 08 May 2025 23:30 Hrs. (IST), or any extended date which the Sponsor may in its sole discretion decide (the “Raffle Period”).

5.      HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLE

5.1   You must meet the Eligibility Requirements stated under sub-clause 2.1 to enter the Raffle during the Raffle Period before the deadline stated in sub-clause 4.1.

5.2   While issuing Qatar Airways’ tickets, Participants must enter the unique Track Code “INDRCB25” manually in each ticketed PNR through an OSI entry along with their Trade Portal membership number.

5.3   Qatar Airways will track OSI entries for ticketed PNRs during the Raffle Period to determine the Campaign Winner Raffle. Below are examples of OSI entries (Please reconfirm OSI entries with your respective GDS):

5.3.1   Amadeus:          OSQR INDRCB25 / INDRCB25TAINXXXXXX “Trade Portal Membership Num”

5.4   Announcement and communication in relation to the Raffle will be published on Qatar Airways Trade Portal. You must visit the link  for more details of the Raffle.

5.5   Trade Portal Membership ID of all Participants shall be included to enter the Raffle.

5.6  Qatar Airways reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who provides false information, fails to provide information or comply with these Official Rules, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Raffle.

6.      WINNER’S SELECTION

6.1   On 12 May, 2025, the entries of all qualifying Participants who have successfully performed all the steps set out in sub-clauses 5.1 to 5.3 above will be placed into a computerised random draw which will not be viewable by the public. From the Participants, three (3) winners will be selected for the Campaign Winner Raffle (the “Potential Winners”).

6.2   The Potential Winners will be sent a prize announcement from Qatar Airways’ official account via an email to the email address stated in their trade portal account (“Prize Announcement”). The Potential Winners are required to respond to the Prize Announcement by email and confirm acceptance of the Prize within seventy-two (72) hours from the time he/she receives the Prize Announcement.

6.3   Qatar Airways will request to be provided with evidencing document for verification of the Potential Winner’s age, identity, email address and residential address.

6.4   Potential Winners will be required to sign and return via email an affidavit of eligibility and liability release provided by the Sponsor (collectively, the “Release”) within seven (7) days of receipt together with all or any additional documents or details which Qatar Airways may require, in order to receive the Prizes. Subject to each Potential Winner’s consent, a list of Winners will be published on the Raffle’s landing page on the Trade Portal.

6.5   If the Potential Winners meet all of the requirements of this clause 6, then the Potential Winners will be deemed to be “Winners”. If a Potential Winner/s:

(i) does not meet the Eligibility Requirements;

(ii) does not react or respond to the Prize Announcement within the specified period;

(iii) does not wish to receive a Prize;

(iv) refuses or fails to provide verification information requested by the Sponsor;

(v) fails to return the Release within the specified timeframe; or

(vi) is disqualified on inter alia any grounds refer to in these Official Rules or any grounds in Qatar Airways’ sole and absolute discretion,

that Potential Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Potential Winner/s will be drawn using the same computerized random draw for selection.

If a Potential Winner is not awarded a Prize for any of the reasons set out above, then at Qatar Airways’ sole and absolute discretion, the Prize in question may either be completely forfeited (i.e., no replacement winner will be chosen), or the selection process detailed above may be repeated. In case where the selection process described above is repeated, the alternate Potential Winner/s may be contacted after the deadline specified under this clause.

7.      PRIZES

 Subject to the Prize restrictions stated in clause 8 below, and the Eligibility Requirements and conditions for participation to the Raffle stated in clauses 2 and 5 above:

7.1   Grand Prize will be comprising of the following:

·         RCB official team merchandise OR

·         RCB match tickets (home)

8.      PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

8.1   Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, and any implied warranty of merchantability (or other warranty as to quality) or fitness for a particular purpose. A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason will not make any claim against the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever, and will have no claim against the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever and arising out of whatever cause. 

8.2   Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable. No cash redemption or prize substitutions by the Winner/s are allowed except where required by law.

8.3   Winner/s is responsible for any and all fees, charges and taxes applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes including withholding taxes and fees. Where required by law, Winner/s may have to pay withholding taxes to Sponsor for the latter to fulfil its tax obligations.

8.4   The transport from one city to another to assist to the match game is not part of the prize. The winner will have to organize his transport from respective city to game venue

8.5   The validity period for the prize tickets may not be extended and prize tickets may not be rebooked. The validity of the match tickets will be until the respective matches

8.6 The Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability towards any winner who is not eligible for a prize, who is unable or who does not accept or use the awarded prize, for any reason it would be

8.7   Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any Participant or Potential Winner/s who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle, provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Raffle, or violates the Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE RAFFLE MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8.8   The Participant shall not have any claim against the Sponsor and its agencies for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Raffle which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Raffle.  Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Raffle in accordance with applicable laws if it becomes technically corrupted. In such event, Sponsor will award Prizes via random drawing from eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

8.9   Prizes must be claimed / redeemed by no later than advised dates.

9.    PUBLICITY RELEASE

If a Winner consents, Sponsor will collect and use the Winner’s name, country of residence, and/or photograph for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in trade communications and on Qatar Airways Trade Portal without any obligation or consideration or counterpart whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the Prize to the Winner. In case that the Winner intends to make a publicity regarding his/her win on the Raffle and/or Prizes, such publicity must not contain anything that would harm and/or be detrimental to the Sponsor’s reputation.

10.   PRIVACY

10.1 Personal data submitted in connection with the Raffle will be processed to allow you to participate in the Raffle, allow us to administer the Raffle, where you are a Potential Winner to inform you of this, to process the delivery of and distribution of the Prizes, to measure the response to Raffle and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules. We will process your personal data based on the Official Rules of this Raffle, in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy-policy.html and as permitted by law. If you decline to provide this information, we will not be able to register or enter you into this Raffle or award you any Prize if you have been successful.

10.2 As Sponsor of the Raffle, we may process your name, email address, your country of residence, proof of residence, age verification documentation and/or personal identification documentation in accordance with applicable laws. We will retain any personal data provided for a maximum of ninety (90) days from the date of participation to the Raffle or any longer period in order to administer these Official Rules for the purposes of this Raffle.

11.   RELEASE OF LIABILITY

A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason shall not have any claim against the Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, employees, officers, directors, representatives, mandatories, and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”). SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF ONE PRIZE. THE RELEASEES‎ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO PARTICIPANTS FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, OR REVENUE. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR LIMIT SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES' LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES’ NEGLIGENCE, FOR FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY LAW.

12.   FORCE MAJEURE

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE RAFFLE TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR ACTS OF THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

13.   DISCLAIMERS

13.1 Where permitted by law, if this Raffle cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason which is not caused by Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion in accordance with applicable laws to modify or terminate the Raffle, Winner selection, or Prizes without prior notice.

13.2 Sponsor will not be responsible for any technical fault or failure which prevents a person from entering.

13.3 Sponsor will not be liable for any entry which is not received, or which is incomplete or damaged or which is invalid for any reason whatsoever.

14.   GOVERNING LAW

This Raffle including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Raffle will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts. THIS RAFFLE IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

1.   The Laws shall apply to any such contract; and

2.   You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence (“Courts”),

then the Raffle and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction (India):

15.1. For Participants who are residents of India, these Official Rules and the Raffle shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

15.2. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to this Raffle, including in relation to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability or breach of these Official Rules, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

16. Taxation (India):

16.1. All Prizes under this Raffle shall be subject to applicable Indian tax laws, including the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961. In cases where the value of the Prize exceeds ₹10,000/- Qatar Airways shall deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) at the rate prescribed under Section. 194B of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (currently 30% plus applicable surcharge and cess, if any).

16.2. The Winner shall be required to submit a copy of their valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) card and any other documents as may be requested by the Sponsor for verification and compliance purposes. The Prize shall be awarded only upon successful verification and deduction or deposit of the applicable taxes.

16.3. Any additional tax liability, including but not limited to income tax, surcharge, cess or any statutory levy, shall be borne solely by the Winner. The Sponsor shall not be responsible for providing any tax advice or bearing any tax liability of the Winner.
