Introducing Oryx Connect

At Qatar Airways we believe in extending our five-star experience to everything we do. Our New Distribution Capability (NDC) programme, Oryx Connect – Our NDC programme, has been launched to empower you with rich content including dynamic fares, ancillary services as well as added flexibility and accessibility via multiple aggregator platforms including Amadeus, Travelport and Sabre.

Oryx Connect offers next-level retailing for our joint customers. It enables trade partners to access more rich content including fare families and a selection of Ancillary Services, such as Additional Baggage and Seat Selection.

NDC onboarding guidelines

The NDC Standard:

New Distribution Capability (NDC) is a travel industry-supported transmission standard launched by IATA for the development and market adoption of a XML-based data transmission, that will address the limitations of the current distribution technology.

The NDC Standard enhances the capability of communications between airlines and travel agents and enables the travel industry to transform the way air products are retailed to corporations, leisure and business travelers.

Subscription
Any approved Trade Partner can join by subscribing to Oryx Connect programme via Trade Portal registration pages. Existing partners connected through Amadeus, Travelport and  Sabre don’t need to register, although, we recommend it for the enhanced servicing and support functions
