Transportation and parking
While some transportation has been interrupted by the ongoing effects of the earthquake, regular transport from the capital to the airport has now been re-established. Buses run regularly from the centre of the city to the airport, and depending on the condition of the roads will take between 20-40 minutes.
Many larger hotels run shuttle services to and from the airport, while taxis are plentiful and probably represent the easiest and fastest way to arrive at the terminal. Long and short-term parking is available outside the main terminal, but spaces are limited and fill up very quickly.
Arriving in Kathmandu

Light snacks and drinks are available from vendors, and several banks offer Bureau de Change facilities for passengers. The CIP lounge is available for business class passengers to access a limited number of business facilities, and there are two press rooms available for hire that act as small conference rooms for up to 40 people.
