Flying from Jakarta
Soekarno–Hatta International Airport sits on the island of Java, and is the main airport for Indonesia and one of South East Asia’s busiest transport hubs.
Qatar Airways flies regularly from Jakarta to destinations all over the globe, using this modern and very busy airport as one of our South East Asia departure points. Unlike other concrete–and-steel airports, Soekarno-Hatta makes extensive use of beautiful golden timber in its construction, giving it a warm and welcoming feel with a much more personal and intimate atmosphere.
Transportation and parking
The DAMRI shuttle bus operates from all terminals to destinations across the city, including Rawamangun, Blok M/Kebayoran, Gambir, Bekasi, Depok and Bogor.
Taxis arrive outside the main terminal and can also be picked up at the main taxi rank. There is extensive car parking facilities for both short and long-term parking, as well as a valet service, disabled and secure parking. Long-stay parking is available at terminals 2 and 3.
Arriving at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport
Flights from Jakarta with Qatar Airways depart from Terminal 2D. A dedicated check in lounge with check in desks, immigration booth, and direct access to the Pura Indah Lounge is available for First and Business Class passengers for selected international airlines at the left end of Terminal 2.
Facilities and amenities
The airport has extensive facilities spread across the three terminals. Terminals 1 and 2 have banks, ATMs and bureau de change facilities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout Terminal 2 and is due to come online in Terminal 1 soon.
Visitors will find a selection of shops and outlets in the duty free area, selling both local and international goods, including perfumes, wellness products, and leather goods. Left-luggage is located in Terminal 2 (Hall D). A porter service is available. There are baby care facilities in Terminal 2, and prayer rooms and quiet zones throughout the complex.

This confident, elegant location welcomes the well dressed, the well heeled and the super-rich with open arms, offering everything from designer shopping to 5-star hotels where every detail is catered to.
Book a flight to Milan with Qatar Airways, and you’ll discover that there is also a lot more to this city than fashion. Plenty of attractions, galleries, opera and high culture make it an art lover’s delight, while business travellers will be drawn to the entrepreneurial spirit of the city and its thriving commercial centre.
Tourist attractions
Milan’s museums house collections of international importance. The best are located in the Pinacoteca di Brera, which can be compared with the greats such as the Louvre in Paris and Madrid's El Prado. The museum is home to Italy’s finest classical art collection, including "The Kiss" by Francesco Hayez. Other must-see museums and galleries include the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, and the Societa' per le Belle Arti ed Esposizione Permanente for more contemporary art and sculpture.
The Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology is a fascinating and interactive museum that looks a little more closely at some of the great man’s scientific inventions and ideas. For opera lovers, the obvious destination has to be La Scala Theatre, one of the world’s most important venues for classical opera. A strangely beautiful attraction is the Art Nouveau cemetery of Cimitero Monumentale, which is filled with lavish sculptures and is effectively the largest open-air Art Nouveau museum in the world.
The Cinque Vie historical district is Milan’s ancient heart, and is where the Roman city grew up. It’s also home to some of the city’s most exclusive boutique shopping, and plenty of espresso bars to keep you refreshed and fuelled up for a busy day’s sightseeing.
