Taxi ranks are also located to the west of the International terminal building and a taxi journey from the centre of Auckland should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.

The international departure area is located on the upper level of the Terminal, and is connected via escalators and elevators. It is a very large building, so it is important to ensure you are in the correct part of the terminal and to leave yourself plenty of time to get to your check-in desk.
Security can be very tight, so allow approximately two hours before your flight is due to board to clear check-in and security checks.
