Transportation and Parking

Short-term parking is available at two sides on either side of the terminal, with the Eastern car park more convenient for Qatar Airways passengers.

The bus pavilion is located to the right just outside the entrance to the passenger terminal, and provides regular services into the business and residential centres of Doha.

Chauffeur- driven limousines are available on request, and car rental facilities are also on offer.

Arriving at Hamad International Airport

If you are flying from Doha in First or Business Class with Qatar Airways, the most convenient access to the airport is through Entry Gate 1.  Economy class passengers will find it easiest to enter the departure hall through Entry Gates 2 and 3.

Tourist attractions

The epicentre of the artistic community is the Artist Village, bounded by Broadway, First, Third, and Spurgeon Streets.

The Old Town Hall has now become a museum for the area, charting the development of Santa Ana over the years from its time as a frontier town to modern-day life.

There are also a cluster of other museums and exhibitions that are well worth checking out, including the Bowers Museum, which focuses on cultural art, and the Science Center, a hands-on centre that is particularly popular with children.

Santa Ana has its own zoo too, the Ana Zoo at Prentice Park, which is home to a troop of 50 monkeys as well as a number of other animals.

For a little bit of rest and tranquillity head to Santiago Park or Jerome Park, both offering plenty of cycling and walking circuits among very pleasant, well maintained gardens.
